Licensing
NAViCalC licensing is designed to keep operations simple: one Cloud plan with everything included, plus Enterprise options for on-prem deployment and internal source access (with restrictions).
Cloud subscription (single plan)
$59/month OR $699/year
Includes ALL modules, unlimited users, unlimited storage, and mobile apps for all users.
- Tenants can enable/disable modules via settings
- RBAC per module is core
- 2-year archiving policy (older data archived; retrievable on request)
On-prem Enterprise license
$7,999+ one-time + $1,999/year (SLA + assisted upgrades)
License is bound to the server name/host identifier.
On-prem is best for organizations that need NAViCalC inside their own infrastructure. The annual renewal supports SLA and assisted upgrades.
Source Code Access License (internal development)
$9,999 one-time + $1,999/year updates
Internal use only. No commercial redistribution/resale/SaaS, and no competing product.
- Designed for internal development teams who need private access for customization
- Not permitted for commercial redistribution, resale, or running NAViCalC as a SaaS offering
- Not permitted for building or selling a competing product
Choosing the right option
Most teams start with Cloud SaaS because it is the fastest way to go live and it includes all modules with unlimited users and storage. Enterprise options exist for specific deployment or internal development requirements.
| Need | Recommended |
|---|---|
| Fastest rollout with everything included | Cloud SaaS ($59/mo or $699/yr) |
| Infrastructure-controlled deployment | On-prem Enterprise ($7,999+ + $1,999/yr) |
| Internal development access (restricted) | Source Code Access License ($9,999 + $1,999/yr updates) |
Decision tips
- If your main goal is operational visibility fast, start with Cloud SaaS and validate workflows in a demo.
- If you must control network boundaries and infrastructure, on-prem Enterprise is the right path.
- If you need deep internal customization and you are not building a competing product, source access may apply.
- Use RBAC, approvals, and audit logs as first-class controls from day one to avoid cleanup later.
If you are unsure, start with Cloud SaaS, then decide on Enterprise options once workflows are validated.
Renewals and upgrades
Cloud SaaS updates are delivered as part of the subscription. Enterprise options use an annual renewal to support SLA coverage and assisted upgrades. Staying current helps reduce operational risk and keeps security improvements available.
License restrictions (source access)
The Source Code Access License is designed for internal use. It prohibits commercial redistribution, resale, providing NAViCalC as a SaaS offering, and building or selling a competing product. This keeps licensing clear and protects long-term product integrity.
What is included across options
All licensing options are built around the same operational philosophy: connected modules, strong governance controls, and predictable operations.
- Module breadth: Inventory, CRM, Billing, Accounting, HR, Operations, Reporting, and automation (subject to configuration).
- Governance: RBAC per module, approval templates, step approvals, thresholds, and audit logs.
- Operational visibility: report schedules and report history to keep teams aligned.
- Deployment flexibility: Cloud, mobile access (launching soon), and Enterprise on-prem options.
Licensing FAQ
Do you offer a single Cloud plan?
Yes. Cloud SaaS is $59/month OR $699/year and includes ALL modules, unlimited users, and unlimited storage.
Is there a separate mobile license?
No. Mobile apps are included for all users on the Cloud plan. See mobile apps.
Does on-prem include an annual renewal?
Yes. On-prem Enterprise includes $1,999/year for SLA and assisted upgrades.
What does server-bound license mean?
The on-prem Enterprise license is bound to a server name/host identifier to scope the license to the approved deployment environment.
Can I resell the Source Code Access License or run a SaaS?
No. The source access license is internal-use only and prohibits resale, commercial redistribution, providing NAViCalC as a SaaS offering, or building a competing product.
